April at the Promenade

We went to the Promenade jam on Wednesday. A regular crowd shuffled in.

House of the Rising Sun is an old standard that Alisa mentioned. I started practising it and recorded the following in preparation for the jam.

We found out about an open mike at the Monte Carlo hotel in Markham. We went there Friday night. They usually have a piano but not this night. Some familiar faces were there.
